The story
Inside Chikkamma
Chikkamma is the Kannada remake of Chithi, Radaan Mediaworks' flagship Tamil serial in which Radikaa Sarathkumar played dual roles. It aired on Udaya TV from 2010 to 2012. The family drama follows an independent, principled young woman navigating life with her in-laws and standing up for justice. The lead role was played by Umashankari, daughter of veteran actress Sumithra, who also appears in the show.
